Are electric guitars easier to play than acoustics?

0

I find electric guitars easier to play than acoustics for two reasons. One is that electric guitars usually have lighter strings, making them easier to press to the frets. Additionally, the height of the strings above the frets is reduced on an electric, again requiring less effort. As set of ultra light guage strings with a neck angle that has them almost touching the frets (the adjustable neck is another ease advavntage for the electric) can reduce the fingering effort to a fraction of an acoustic. Now, I’m answering the question of “easy” purely in terms of physical effort. That is not to be confused with requiring less skill. Both require skill, although of a slightly different sort for each. And it is not to say that the result from one is superior, just different.
