Are Electronics available in Turkey?
Yes, they are but are generally more expensive than UK. Televisions and DVD’s have come down in price substantially and around the same price as UK Laptops are expensive in Turkey but can usually be brought in using hand luggage. Again these are taxable if stopped but can be noted in your passport which means you must take them with you when you leave. DVD’s are available for around £5. Video players are not very common and Video tapes are not easily sourced.
