Are external RF amplifiers sold for the FT-817?
YES. The Toyko Hy-Power amplifiers have been reported to work with the FT-817; however, since their amplifiers can not be sold in the USA under FCC Rule 97.315 and 97.317, the amplifiers have to be acquired directly or by some other means.
