The diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome does not automatically qualify you for Canada Pension Plan disability benefits. Some people may qualify, and some people may not, depending on the seriousness and degree of severity of the illness. However, there is no general rule that you cannot be totally disabled with these diseases. In fact, an actual diagnosis is not required so long as you can convince the legal system that you are in fact disabled from employment.
