Are fire extinguishers hydraulic or pneumatic?

0

The propellant which causes the pressure to allow it to function would be pneumatic, although the liquid in some extinguishers will be hydraulic. So it could be both to some extent, but I would say that since it is pneumatic pressure which allows it to perform properly I would say pneumatic.
