This is a delicate subject and we are not completely sure how to navigate, so here’s how it’s working in practice – Most folks are either leaving the kids with relatives back in New York or in Dublin (so the Moms and Dads can really enjoy the wedding), or they are bringing grandparents on vacation with them, and they are taking care of the kids while Mom and Dad are having a Hooooooley at the wedding! We personally like this option because we selfishly like being able to have Mom and Dad to ourselves for a bit of all day and late night adult time!
