All barbs are aggressive when compared to most tropicals, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. I love barbs for aquariums; good looking, active fish. I have a 75 gallon tank with nothing but barbs in it; Tigers, golds, pandas, greens, red tails, etc. Just remember that they prefer schools to the solitary life, so when you see a barb that you like, jet no less than 3 of the same kind so they have a posse to swim with.
