Are international PhD and DMA students who receive PhD Tuition Fee Awards still eligible for the International Partial Tuition Scholarship?
No, international PhD and DMA students who receive PhD Tuition Fee Awards will not be eligible for the International Partial Tuition Scholarship. The International Partial Tuition Scholarship will be replaced by the PhD Tuition Fee Award in the first four years of PhD or DMA studies. However, international PhD and DMA students who are not eligible for the PhD Tuition Fee Award (i.e., students who are in fifth year and later of doctoral studies or who first registered at UBC after 30 September 2007) will continue to be eligible for the International Partial Tuition Scholarship.
