The V6 in the MDX is a great engine and you can now rest more at ease that you have just a little bit better protection in the oil pan. Fuel system cleaning is again something one needs to be aware of from the service guidelines produced by Acura. I have a Honda with over 200000 miles on it and have never paid for a fuel system cleaning and the car does not suffer from any issues related to not having had it done. If your Acura has many many miles on it then it would not hurt as the injector tips can get a bit varnished as gas evaporates once the engine is shut down. I again refer to the excellent engine, thought not immune from normal issues typically you would be fine for many many years before thinking of such a service.
