Are JWOD Items on DOD EMALL?
There is a JWOD catalog on DOD EMALL and it is listed as National Institute for the Blind (NIB). This catalog has all of the mandatory office supply items listed, commonly know as the ‘A” listed items. They are all marked with the JWOD logo on DOD EMALL making them easy to recognize. DOD EMALL has many more commercial suppliers who also supply the mandatory JWOD items, which are also marked with the JWOD logo. The commercial suppliers also can list the non-mandated JWOD items, but these are not marked with the JWOD logo. These items are commonly known as the ‘B’ list items. The DOD EMALL allows vendors to list the ETS (essentially the same) commercial items, but we have a JWOD block in place that will suggest the correct JWOD item. The Army BPA’s will notify a user if they order an item that has a JWOD equivalent through the block.
