Today is Good Friday. All city offices will be closed, but garbage will be collected in the city as scheduled. Mail will be delivered, and post offices are open for regular hours. County courts, the district attorney’s office and the sheriff’s office will be closed. The warrant, controller’s and treasurer’s offices will be open. The county administration and chief executive offices also will be open. State offices and state liquor stores will be open, but liquor stores that have Sunday hours will be closed on Easter. Federal offices, federal courts and banks will be open today. Port Authority buses and the T will run on normal schedules.
