Are liquor stores profitable?

0

take it from a liquor store owner in southern california…. liquor stores aren’t what they were. And even it’s really hard finding a good location where you could sell a lot of your merchandise. Everything in my store I make a minimum of 30% (besides gas) . We sell Beer, Wine, Liquor, Groceries, Deli, and Gas. But with the economy so bad I don’t think it’s a great idea to get involved in a business like liquor store. One simple reason, no body likes to spend money on there drinks anymore because nobody has that extra $40 bucks to spend on liquor or beer for a party. There’s been a big drop in business in the last couple years. Good Luck!
