While proponents assert that such products can help treat or prevent conditions like multiple sclerosis, circulatory disorders, insomnia, and even cancer and heart disease, scientific evidence fails to back up these claims. As such, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) considers magnetic therapy products of no use for medical purposes. Still, a few studies have shown that magnetic therapy may help people manage pain resulting from chronic conditions like arthritis and fibromyalgia. F
