Are mandarin ducks real pets?
I’m not a Mandarin duck expert but according to a friend who is a 4H teen leader in our county (poultry project) who has them and shows them…… They are wild ducks so not as tame as domestic ducks. They are legal in California. You should probably get them young so you can work with them so they can be more tame and cage trained so they do not injur themselves if you plan on showing them.
