Are men smarter than women or vice versa?
Using IQ methodology (which I find flawed) we find that men perform better in the maths and sciences (statistically) whilst women perform better in verbal-oriented tasks. I don’t have access to sources, my apologies, but these assertions can be found by a mere search on the internet. I don’t believe that intelligence is something that we have a good grasp on using “soft” methodology like IQ testing. Men tend to perform better in some areas whereas women perform better in other areas. These facts have been reproduced using hard methodology, e.g. fMRI & MR Spect. Funtional MRI (fMR) has demonstrated that men have a higher ration of grey to white matter.
