Are names erased from the Book of Life?
I believe in the literal translation of God’s Holy Word. I believe that God says what He means, and means what He says. In Revelation 3:5, Jesus was writing a letter to the Church of Sardis. In that letter, He said: “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I WILL NOT BLOT OUT HIS NAME OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE,” so yes, you can have you name blotted out, and you can lose your salvation. Romans 8:38-39 tells us: “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Which is true, but the one thing that was not mentioned is: FREE WILL. You can choose to reject Jesus Christ, even after being saved (not a good idea).
