Are other forms of insurance, like general liability and property insurance available?

A. All forms of insurance are available in Costa Rica. In Costa Rica insurance is handled by a government agency called INS (Instituto Seguro Nacional). You can purchase insurance for your home, car, business, life insurance, and most other insurable items through INS.
