OTC drugs and medicines such as antacids, cold medicine, and pain relievers will require a prescription in order to be considered an eligible expense under the healthcare FSA. OTC items such as contact lens solution, first aid supplies, insulin and diabetic supplies, and diagnostic tests and monitors will continue to be eligible without a prescription.
