Are parrot fish less aggressive than convict cichlids?

0

Lots of people say that blood parrots are more aggressive than convicts. I personally have a 55g with three juvenile parrot fish and one juvenile firemouth. Two blood parrots tend to stick together and chase off the other two whereas the firemouth is as sweet and docile as can be. Convicts are really more of the less aggressive cichlids. I recommend convicts as they’re smaller and won’t need such a large tank later on. As for schooling fish, I recommend corydora/otocinclus catfish, tetras, danios, rasboras, etc.
