Are PhD students who transfer to UBC with a Faculty member eligible for a PhD Tuition Fee Award?
When students who have begun PhD studies at another university transfer to UBC with a Faculty member, their previous PhD studies are counted toward their UBC PhD program, and eligibility for awards will be calculated as if the years spent at the previous university were spent at UBC.
