A.21. High School rules require that eye shields on helmets be clear, without tint. The intention of this rule is that those providing aid to an injured player be able to see clearly the players eyes without having to remove the helmet (which may be harmful to do), thus the referee shall be the judge of the eye shields acceptability.  more
