Dear Laxmikant, Nowadays, the flat front pants are more in fashion and flat front can be as formal as the pleated pants. What makes the flat front pants more appealing than the pleated ones now is the overall look can be pretty sleek when worn fitted. However, pleated pants can still be worn and not considered out of fashion since flat front pants might not be suitable for all men especially those seeking to have more room around the hip area. To have cuffs on your pants is fine and it is a classic style that is not influenced by fashion, in my opinion. It is generally suitable to have cuffs for the taller men. Shorter men should avoid the cuffs since it will amplify their shortness with a cuffed pants.
