ARE Polesaver Rods and Mabons PROTECTIMBERS DANGEROUS TO STOCK AND HUMANS?
No. they are particularly safe – over 5000 Mg/kg LD50 Rates – Oral & Dermal – for Mabon’s PROTECTIMBERs and Polesaver Rods. The rods are chalk like and the Protectimber clear, odourless and in timber, are harmless to the environment. If spilt on the ground, the Mabon’s PROTECTIMBER has a herbicidal effect so you have to be careful using liquids around plants. It is a slight irritant due to the glycol and to some people this is a problem – safety gear, including gloves should be worn at al times when applying Mabon’s PROTECTIMBER.
