Are protestants now better than catholics 500 years after the REFORMATION?
Not really. We owe it to politics since the protestants were able to secure the help of the german princes’s who saw in Luther an opportunity to finally carve a portion of the empire for themselves from a weak emperor. These men were more motivated by greed rather than by principles like religious tolerance.
