Are registrants on the Limited Register – Non-Practicing required to be in full compliance with the Continuing Competency Program?
A registrant may request to be placed on the Limited Register – Non-Practicing category for a maximum of two consecutive years. While on the Limited Register, registrants are required to be in compliance with the Continuing Competency Program unless they are on medical or parental leave. Registrants “on sabbatical” would be expected to be engaging in activities that would meet the program requirements (i.e., taking workshops, reading, discussing psychology with colleagues).
