Are right handed people cleverer than left handed people?
It’s believed that right-handed people have better development in the part of the brain that controls learning (maths, languages) while left-handed people have better development in the part of the brain that allows them to be creative (arts, instinct, intuition). So basically, it depends on what you call clever, but some of the greatest geniuses of all times (Da Vinci among others) are believed to have been left-handed. Also, being left-handed USED to be seen (and is still thought of in some cultures) as a bad thing and children weren’t allowed to use their left hand for writing and such, which might be responsible for the reputation. All in all though, I don’t believe right-handed people are smarter than left-handed people, or vice versa, their brains just work in different ways.
