Are Scholarships, Awards or Financial Support available?
Yes. Scholarships and financial support are available – refer to the website Financial Support Office for more information and also the Sources of Funding Information Pack. Once you have received official confirmation of your admission offer, you should apply for all LSE awards that are appropriate for you. Awards are available for overseas students, but unfortunately there are many fewer awards than applicants, and only a small minority of MSc students are funded from LSE or Institute funds. If you are intending to study the MSc Social and Cultural Psychology programme you are automatically considered for the Himmelweit Scholarship. Alternatively if you are intending to study the MSc Social and Cultural Psychology programme or the MSc Organisational and Social Psychology (Research Track) with a view to progressing to MPhil/PhD you should also consider applying for the ESRC (Economic and Social Research Council) Studentships.
