Absolutely! In the recent Georgia Tech Internet User Survey, respondents were asked how they find information on the Internet. A full 82% said they used the major search engines. These numbers do not include statistics about people that use directories such as Yahoo or ODP to find information. As we see, the facts speak for themselves, Search Engines Cannot be ignored, But a website which is not geared to accomodate search engines will be. WHAT ARE THE MAJOR SEARCH ENGINES? Since search engines are important, the more search engines our site is on, the better, right? Well, not exactly. Over 90% of this flood of people looking for information on websites come through a handful of search engines.
