Many retailers are giving us a taste of spring and even summer before our first major snowstorm. Fashion industry insiders say that’s just the way it is. “The spring stuff starts trickling in just after the holidays,” said Nordstrom spokesman John Bailey. He added that the main thrust of the spring merchandise won’t arrive until March and April. Shoppers who travel to warmer climates this time of year have requested to see spring things earlier, he said.
