Are students covered on course related excursions?

0

Students are automatically covered if the excursion is an approved part of the course in which they are enrolled. On a one-off basis each year, each student who is to participate in a field trip/excursion or placement should complete the Acknowledgement Form. This is to provide some assurance that the student is aware of the coverage provided under the Personal Accident insurance policy. The Acknowledgement Forms should be retained by the relevant School. These would only be accessed in the event of a claim.
