Surgical services are available for minor surgeries only if they are emergencies. All other scheduled surgeries are booked in either Kenora, Dryden, Thunder Bay or Winnipeg. Travel grants are available if travel to a major centre is necessary. In emergency situations, patients will be flown to a larger hospital via Medivac.
