Are teachers allowed to yell at there students?

0

You can, but what is the point? It is more effective if you only yell in rare circumstances. The worst are the ones who yell, make empty threats, and engage in power struggles with the students. Eventually, the temper gets worse and the teacher says something unprofessional that makes the situation worse. I would rather speak in a normal tone, and enforce the rules that are in place by giving detention so I can speak with the student privately, or calling home. It is also nice to see so many people out there support and empathize with teachers. Instead of giving us corporal punshment, I would much rather have smaller class sizes and more teachers to make it happen.
