Are the AMDEX secondary enzyme conjugates suitable for use in Western Blotting applications?

0

The Amdex enzyme conjugates are produced for ELISA applications and are not tested or validated for use in western blotting applications. However, there is no biochemical reason why the conjugate could not be used for western blotting. Since the Amdex conjugates have considerably greater activity than a standard secondary conjugate, you should empirically assess proper dilution for use with your primary antibody and detection chemistry by titration. A suitable dilution range of 1:20,000 to 1:500,000 should be considered.
