Are the bees still lost, lots of stories in the news now nothing?

The bees are still AWOL. (I think that a lot of people just don’t care, so it is not a big news story. The media probably thinks that people could care less about a few bees.) Personally, I think that people just be very aware of this ecological disaster. If the honeybees disappear we will have a major ecological, agricultural, and economical issue on our hands. I was recently reading about a species of bee called the mason bee that has not been affected by this plight. The almond crop growers in California have shipped thousands of them to help with the pollination of the almond trees. But the honeybees are still dwindling in numbers fast. Expect the honey prices to go up soon.
