According to the experts at dealnews.com (whose job it is to watch such things), the answer is a resounding “perhaps not.” The bargain-hunting Website has looked at some of the hottest tech deals from the leading retailers’ Black Friday circulars and found that, in many cases, you can do just as well shopping around the Web in the comfort of your jammies. For example, Best Buy is advertising a 52-inch Samsung 1080p LCD HDTV with Geek Squad installation for $1,500. Not bad, considering the non-sale price comes up at $2,300. But dealnews.com reports that a similar Samsung model was available for the same price in October, and that Amazon.com has a similar model for $76 more with a Blu-ray player.
