Yes. All nine Centers have an attendant onsite to assist you with any questions you may have. Q: What items are accepted at the Convenience Centers? A: Household garbage, scrap metal (appliances that do not contain Freon), furniture, mattress, yard waste, large batteries, used oil, oil filters/bottles, and recycling material. The main center located on Siloam Church Rd. accepts Antifreeze, used Cooking Oil (up to 50 gals. per visit), and E-Waste. Bucklevel and Deadfall also accept Cooking Oil. All convenience centers accept used motor oil, up to 5 gallons per visit Q: What items are NOT accepted at the Convenience Centers? A: Tires, Appliances that contain Freon, roofing shingles, asbestos, and hazardous waste. All unaccepted material must be taken to the Landfill (located at 1115 Siloam Church Rd.)
