Are the interns at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic qualified to see me?
Yes, they have completed extensive training not only in the basic medical sciences, but also in clinical sciences and naturopathic therapies. Their schooling over the course of their three years at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine has included a multitude of different classes, listed above, as well as very rigorous written, oral, and practical testing and examination. Many have also written and passed part one of their Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Examination (NPLEX) by this time as well. All interns are required to have completed many strict requirements by the time they enter their fourth year and begin working in the clinic as a primary intern. In addition, all interns are supervised by licensed naturopathic doctors.
