Are the provinces and territories required to produce their own sustainable development strategies?
While the provinces and territories are not required to produce SD strategies under federal law, some provinces, such as Manitoba and Quebec, have taken the initiative and produced their own SD strategies. Other provinces, such as Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia, have developed their own SD Acts.
