Are the rooms at the Alexis Park secure?

They are probably as secure as any other (normal) hotel. Take from that what you will. They are a little more aware of security around the time of Defcon. Q) Where do I get food other than the AP? A) Take a walk, there are a number of nice food establishments around the area as well as supermarkets. Q) Around how much ($$$) should I bring if I want to have a decent time at Defcon?
