This was selected as Best Answer Hello, The way forward is suborbital flight at least mach 10, suborbital overcomes the speed of sound sonic boom problems. The initial part of the flight and the final part would have to be subsonic but that is no problem as the real problem to solve is the bit in the middle. About 10 years ago I tried to interest Richard Branson in the idea as the next big leap forward for aviation, his response was to turn done my idea and a few months later Vrgin was going into space. I do wish people would work with me rather than just use me as an ideas resource, it is so frustrating and so time wasting when whe could be actually doing the job!. I am a technical innovator once featured in the London Sunday Times Innovation page and winner of and international aviation design competi
