Are the speakers and remote waterproof?
The speakers and remote are unfortunately not waterproof but they have been designed to operate in a bathroom environment. The bathroom is split into 4 electrical zones, so as long as the speakers are kept at least 0.6m away from a water source they’ll be classed as installed correctly by law and fine for use. For example, do not install the speakers directly above the shower when it will be in constant contact with steam. The remote can not be used in the shower either but can obviously be set before you get in (there’s even a function via the remote whereby the radio can turn on when the lights do, so you don’t even need to touch the remote). The Select version comes with a handy self adhesive hook to keep the remote safe and out of the way too, which is a bonus.
