Are the “troll patrol” or other vigilante groups officially supported or endorsed by the YA Team?
No, the YA Team does not encourage nor sanction these types of groups. Forming such a group does not give these users “more power”. If you feel that such a group of users have “ganged up” on you and this has resulted in unfair violation notices, the best you can do is file an appeal when you receive the VN. If your appeal is approved, the reputation of every person who reported you will be lowered, and future reports from them will be less effective.
