Are the USA and Israel shaping a new North Africa and Middle East?
It sounds similar to the anti-Semitic accusations that Jews or Zionists blew up the World Trade Center on 9-11. Israel is a tiny state just trying to live in peace within the Middle East. It is no small task when so many of its neighbors refuse to recognize its right to exist. By the way, for that matter, a large number of Islamic nations around the world refuse to recognize its right to exist. Now, US foreign policy can be arrogant enough to try to redraw the Middle East. But, our track record in the Middle East and Central Asia isn’t too impressive on an individual nation basis. No, I don’t think the US understands the Middle East well enough to stand a chance at rearchitecting it. I fear that this observation/accusation has been made by yet another US- and Israel-hater.
