The expanding world population coupled with the ever-growing demand for beautiful and durable hardwoods has made it crucial to provide an alternative sustainable supply of these highly desired tropical woods. These trees can be sold by the landowner and provide a sustainable local source of good wood. The existing rainforest will also be preserved because we plant on deforested land that is otherwise unproductive, while providing local people with jobs and education.
