Are there alot of gays in North Myrtle Beach?
Yes, about as many as anywhere else. I live near the area and have quite a few gay friends. You just have to know the places to go, and what part of the beach they go to. There is also a small paper called “Encore” in Wilmington and the surrounding areas that has information. South Carolina is tolerant. My friends do not have any discrimination problems. Several bars and restaurants in the area are considered “gay bars” and restaurants. Just look for the rainbow at the restaurants. We do have a LOT of golf courses, so most of my lesbian friends love to play. As far as displaying, I would keep it to a minimum. It is a family place, so openly “groping” would not be acceptable.
