Yes. The registration period is now 30 days for DV-2012. Scanned photographs must now have a resolution of 300 dpi (dots per inch), rather than 150 dpi. Entry Status Check is now the only way to learn if you are selected, and if so, how to proceed with your immigrant visa / Green Card application, including the appointment for your interview.
