Are there any Citibank ATMs in the country of Panama?
Lindsay the Citibank in Panama, although falls within the same corporate umbrella, is not the same bank as in the US, therefore you will be applied out of country rates when you use an ATM to withdraw money. Also just in case you also thought about it, you can’t walk in and access your US account as they are two separate entities. I work with a lot of US ex-pats and a good number of them used to bank at Citibank, so that’s why I know about this.
