Are there any disadvantages of superconductors?

Well it depends on what your using the superconductor for. For example aluminum is a better conductor than copper, but is not used in electrical wiring because it can’t support it’s own weight, and will sag to the point of snapping. Also you have to have a really low temperature for some superconductors. It really just depends on he material itself and what it is going to be used for.
