Are there any Expat clubs, pubs, meetings etc. in Brno?
A10. Brno is unlike larger cities in that it has hardly any recognized “bases” for Expats to hang-out. Of course there are pubs where Expats can watch their favourite sports teams from back home in action and full details can be found on the Brno Expats Forum, in general though most Expats seem to enjoy the local Brno lifestyle. The Brno Expats Forum does have a monthly get-together (usually on the last Thursday of the month) for a few drinks and some informal networking. All welcome! There are also several other organizations connected with business, culture etc. which actively encourage the participation of non-locals. Again details can be found on The Brno Expats Forum.
