Are there any good sites specifically for a girl wanting to learn to play guitar?
Harmony-Central.com has long been a favorite site for musicians at all levels. Also, there are many blog sites that have great information about learning guitar. You could do a search for “learn guitar blog” and check out what comes up and bookmark your favorites. I had some very useful information on my own blog a few years ago. Check out guitarwisdom.blogspot.com and read the articles from 2006 to 2008. Don’t worry too much about the fact that you are a girl – the information is the same for girls or guys. You might want to get on “Twitter” and follow other entertainers and guitarists. They are constantly recommending good web sites and articles related to guitar playing, and if you follow mostly girl guitar players, you might get some stuff that is more specific to what you are looking for.
